I'll be conservative, but a school does not teach us that "a living being born, nourished, grows, reproduces, dies? "Of course, things in reality are a bit 'more complex than this but the concept is pretty simple, really.
Well, tonight I have just learned that there is a species of jellyfish, Turritopsis nutricula , practically NOT die. Shit, (and sorry for the Gallicism ) me collapse of scientific certainty that I considered unassailable ... analyzing a moment the question of the definition of living being, it unleashes a ' endless series of logical-semantic questions:

• If these jellyfish are not living things, what the hell they do in life ?
• E 'can kill if they are not living things?

And many more, so on and so forth ... Anyway, in my opinion, the tautology of the title sums up the size of the whole matter. Look for hope for future developments, reflections, research by the scientific community ... Confused
